Prenatal with Birth Preparation as of 32d week in Person (English)
The gentle yoga exercises, self-hypnosis and visualization will provide freedom and comfort during the last weeks of pregnancy and empower you to ride the waves and stay calm and focused during labour. The ladies get plenty of practice with helpful breathing and voicing techniques for birthing.
We will try out labour positions and movements specifically aimed to release physical tension and discomfort, and create space both physically and mentally to welcome new life into the world.
All of the excercises help you to relax, let go and gain more trust in your body's innate capacity to give birth. This stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system and promotes the release of Oxytocin - the hormone of love and childbirth - as well as the body’s production of endorphins - your natural painkillers.
The benefits of an oxytocin-rich system will have positive effects for the mother AND baby before and during childbirth, and well into the postnatal phase and beyond.
To enter the building: Please ring the bell at "Praxis" and push the door at the same time when you hear the "CLICK". The Praxis is on the ground floor next to the lift.
