Swami Satchidananda sagte einmal: «Yoga leads to a body that is easeful, a mind that is peaceful, which results in a life that is useful.»

When I really believed it does not matter how your yoga looks was the moment, I went from liking yoga to loving yoga, and more importantly feeling my body in my yoga.
I have been practicing yoga since 2010 and always enjoyed how it made me feel, but as I got more supple I felt like my progression went backwards, poses became uncomfortable, I kept pushing myself and didn’t understand I was reaching compression. Then I came across Yin yoga and I knew one day that I would teach it. Yin yoga has a functional approach to yoga that respects everyone’s anatomical variations. I no longer try to pretzel myself into shapes that my body cannot do and deepening my knowledge of anatomy has empowered me to break away from the prescription alignment that is still present in many classes.
I completed my 200 hour teacher training certificate in Yin yoga and varied anatomy. I encourage students to listen to their bodies, there are no beginner and advanced poses in Yin, if you feel the pose you are doing it correctly. This simple but by no means easy practice is focused on your individual body. As a teacher I am passionate about facilitating a safe environment for students to discover their range of motion, experiencing the physical and mental benefits this slow-paced style of yoga offers.
