Suitable for 6 – 12 years / 60 minutes

Skill Progressions is designed for children who have mastered the basics and are ready to advance to the next level. This class builds on the foundational skills learned in Recreational Gymnastics, introducing more complex movements and techniques. The focus is on increasing strength, flexibility, and skill execution, while also fostering confidence and determination. We recommend attending classes twice a week and practicing at home to maximize progress. This class is perfect for those who are passionate about gymnastics and eager to refine their skills in a more challenging environment.

Terrain Christie

The owner of CrossFit Thalwil, Terrain’s journey started in Montego Bay, Jamaica, before moving to New York at age six, where his love for sports took off. From football, basketball, and track & field to weightlifting and functional fitness, his athletic background shaped the coach he is today.
A CrossFit Level 2 Coach (working toward Level 3!), athletic trainer, and certified nutrition coach, Terrain brings experience, energy, and passion to every class. His expertise spans personal training, group coaching, and sports education, helping athletes of all levels build strength, confidence, and resilience.
In Switzerland, Terrain has expanded his coaching to include youth sports development, working with kids to improve confidence, manage anxiety, and build a strong athletic foundation. Whether he’s coaching adults or kids, his goal is the same: helping people unlock their full potential through fitness.
