Postnatal without Baby (English/German)
The focus of this class is primarily to tonify your pelvic floor and strengthen your belly in a safe way so as to heal any rectus diastasis (a separation in the two recti abdominis). We gradually realign the skeletal system. Through stretching and movement we loosen up the neck and shoulders to counter eventual tensions from carrying and looking after a baby.
Relaxation is an important aspect of a postnatal class as mums rarely find time to look after themselves, to relax, centre and recharge. Through relaxation, mental, emotional and physical tension can be relieved.
Postnatal exercises are essential for your current well-being but also later in life to avoid incontinence, especially in case of further pregnancies.
We recommend attending the postnatal over several months (up to a year) before engaging in more dynamic activities. This will allow your body to realign safely, without violence.
You may attend this course as of 6 weeks after birth (or 8 weeks if you had a c- section). Some women may, however, join much later when the baby is already older and still feel the need to gain core strength and tone their pelvic floor.
When purchasing a pass, please book all of your classes to guarantee a space (spaces are limited). If unable to join you can always cancel 24 hours in advance at no charge. Late cancellation is charged as if attended.
To enter the building: Please ring the bell at "Praxis" and push the door at the same time when you hear the "CLICK". The Praxis is on the ground floor next to the lift.
